SALCO will be the largest aluminum plant in Iran . SALCO shareholders are Ghadir Inv. Co and IMIDRO    (Iranian Mines & Industries Development & Renovation Organization  ) . In the first  phase , SALCO will have a  capacity  phase of 276000 tonnes  of  primary aluminum and for 2^nd & 3^rd phases 310000 & 360000 tonnes of primary aluminum, respectively , all to be shipped as value added aluminum cast products . A power plant with an installed capacity of 750 MW will ensure a stable supply of electricity .SALCO’s purpose is to contribute to the diversification and industrialization of the national economy, Job generation, converting the available energy ( natural gas ) to products and exporting the products by building and operating SALCO Aluminum smelter.
